The responsibilities for Real Estate Manager, include:

  • Transaction Management, execution and support
  • Invoice Management, Portfolio Management and Preparation of Business Cases
  • Internal business Partner Management (Business interface and supporting functions)
  • Lease Management interface to Lease Administration Vendor

Role Objectives

  • Development of effective, cost efficient real estate for Americas Regional portfolio, interfacing extensively with business partner and functional partners across the respective Business Divisions
  • Clear and efficient management of the entire real estate transaction lifecycle, from initial brief through to lease execution and subsequent lease administration, reporting and data management ensuring a strong auditable process
  • Engagement with functional partners (Construction Project Management, Facilities Management & Infrastructure (Engineering), IT, Business Continuity Management, Security, Tax, Legal and Finance) in order to ensure full “consensus” and effective governance
  • Manage relationships with key partners (Landlords, external Real Estate Service Providers, Lawyers (mostly external), Sourcing and other Third Party professionals)
  • Interaction with Finance Group in regard to financial analysis and subsequent development of Business Cases for eventual approvals
  • Review of occupancy costs including annual budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting. Delivery against Departmental and Firm-wide cost reduction targets
  • Supporting the formulation, reporting and delivery of critical Metrics, standardization of service delivery / documentation globally. Full compliance with Regulatory and Firm wide controls and processes

The Global Real Estate Transaction and Portfolio Management department is accountable for the global real estate portfolio and transactions related strategy. (c. 80 leases, 240k sqm across 12 countries in the Americas), handling primarily lease negotiations, renewals, sub-leasing, rent reviews, reinstatement, surrender and relocations in respect to a leased Office and Data Centre portfolio. We work with the business to understand demand and then execute real estate transactions.
